UG adopts take-home, offsite, onsite, others in first-semester exam after students protest

The Vice-Chancellor of University of Ghana has directed all faculty and departmental heads to vary the mode of their examinations for the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year.

The university had earlier notified students that the first semester exam would be both onsite and in-person, triggering backlash from students.

After a strongly-worded letter to the Pro-Vice Chancellor to reconsider the position of the school, the university has changed its earlier stance on the mode of the examination.
