Vacancy: UPSA NEWSROOM recruiting student reporters

Your authoritative student online news portal, UPSANEWSROOM.com is recruiting student reporters from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), University of Ghana, Legon (UG), the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) who have a passion for news reporting.

A total of 10 people will be recruited and trained as student journalists by distinguished media professionals from Joy 99.7 FM, in the field of business, sports, entertainment, general and campus news. These people will be trained in how to write online news stories and report news.

This is a voluntary vacancy that does not come with any monetary benefits at the moment.

Benefits:

(a) Avenue to explore a career in journalism

(b) Occasional stipend to cover stories outside the campus

(c) Opportunity to work with Joy99.7FM, Theghanareport.com, Citi FM, Daily Graphic, Ghanaian Times and Starr FM, among others

(d) Exposure to numerous media opportunities after school

(e) No salary because this is a voluntary position
