5 law students sue GLC over ‘arbitrary, unreasonable’ exams results, scripts undertaking

Chief Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah

The General Legal Council (GLC) has been sued by five law students over an undertaken in 2019 which prevented applicants who sat for the entrance examination from questioning the published results.

In a suit sighted by UPSANEWSROOM.com, the students who participated in last year’s entrance exams said the undertaking imposed on them was “arbitrary, unreasonable and without legal basis.”

They berated the GLC for failing to make provisions for “examination script viewing, examination mark reviewing and appeals concerning examination matters to ensure transparency.”

The students are Prince Ganaku, Mildred Songsore Salia, Stanislaw Osei-Bonsu, Adam Iddrisu, and Asare Hassan.
