Major police reshuffle as COP Kofi Boakye heads Legal Dept

Newly appointed head of Police Legal and Prosecution Department, COP Kofi Boakye

Outspoken senior police office, Commission of Police (COP) Kofi Boakye will be heading the police Legal and Prosecution Department in a major reshuffle in the lead up to the 2020 General Elections.

He was then the head of Police Research and Planning after he was moved from the Ashanti Region as its Commander.

COP Kofi Boakye will take over from COP Prosper Agblor who went on retirement a few weeks ago, UPSANEWSROOM.com has gathered.

The Central Regional Commander, DCOP Paul Manly Awini will now head the police Research, Planning and Transformation Department.

The Eastern Regional Police Commander, DCOP, Afful Boakye Yiadom is now the Accra Regional Police Commander.

The Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP Frederick Adu Anim will now head the police ICT as a Director-General.
