The two SRC officers implicated in the school fees scandal

The President of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) at the University of Professional Studies, Accra has submitted the report of the school fees scandal committee to management.

UPSANEWSROOM.com‘s sources have revealed President Peter Mwin Zumah sent the report to the Dean of Students’ and Finance Director on Wednesday, for their action.

The Oheneba Nana Osei Kumi Committee which investigated two officers of the SRC submitted its report to the President last Sunday on campus.

UPSANEWSROOM.com has learnt the Committee of Inquiry in its 6-page report implicated both the SRC Vice President, Nathaniel Jill Addo Junior and the Deputy General Assembly Speaker, Simeon Yao Mede in the scandal.

The two are said to have extorted monies from some students in order to place on the SRC welfare support list meant for needy but brilliant students.

The SRC President has asked the school management to adopt and implement the recommendation of the Committee in its entirety.
