The University of Professional Studies, Accra has granted a 24-hour extension of course registration effective 7 pm Tuesday, May 19, 2020.
This comes hours after the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) led by the President, Peter Mwin Zumah appealed directly to the University management.
By this extension, students who are yet to register for the semester have been given the clearance to do that from 7 pm on Tuesday to 7 pm on Wednesday.
The University of Professional Studies, Accra began its online examination on Monday. However, UPSANEWSROOM.com has gathered that some students have not been able to register because the registration has been closed.
But the SRC President said they can now do that.
“The way has been paved for those who are yet to register to do so effective 7 pm Tuesday, May 19, 2020 to 7pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.” the SRC President said in a statement copied UPSANEWSROOM.com.
He, however, noted there will not be further extensions upon expiration of this period.
“Students are hereby encouraged to take advantage of this window of opportunity to carry out the necessary registration as early as possible to avoid any disappointments in the ongoing online examination,” the statement read.
