The University of Ghana has pulled out of a TV debate on the impact the Covid-19 pandemic has had on education.
UG Pro Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nana Aba A. Amfo was billed to join three other Vice-Chancellors from different schools but she has pulled out of the discussion, Joy News’ Emefa Apawu disclosed this during the opening of her show on Sunday.
“The University of Ghana has pulled out of the discussion,” the presenter said.
It is not clear why Professor Aba Amfo pulled out of the discussion that would afford the University of Ghana the opportunity to respond to concerns of their students over its e-learning project.
Notwithstanding, the three other Vice-Chancellors have availed themselves for the discussion.
They include, University of Professional Studies, Accra VC, Professor Abednego Okoe Amartey, UHAS VC, Professor John Gyapong and the Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba, Professor Andy Ofori-Birikorang.
