Vice-Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra, Professor Abednego Feehi Okoe Amartey has encouraged students of the school to settle their fees in order to be a part of the online examination set for this month.
“Pay [your fees] so that [you] can be part of this process [online examination],” he said during a meeting on videoconferencing platform, Zoom held on Wednesday.
The Vice-Chancellor said the school deliberately extended the deadline for the registration to encourage those who have not registered to do so.
“Please encourage them [students] that it was because of them that we extended the time,” the told the leadership of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) and Course Representatives at the meeting.
Data cited by UPSANEWSROOM.com has revealed that at least over 12,000 students have so far registered for the Second Semester. There are over 3,000 students yet to register.
