The University of Professional Studies, Accra is one of Ghana’s top three universities in 2020.

The school was named alongside the University of Ghana and Ashesi University College.

The revelation was made in the 2020 Global Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings.

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings assesses universities in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), highlighting their ability to balance their scores across broad areas such as research, outreach and stewardship.

This year’s ranking feature only three universities from Ghana, including the University of Professional Studies, Accra.

The other Ghanaian universities that made it to the list are the University of Ghana and Ashesi University.

UPSA was ranked in the 401+ position which is similar to that of the University of Ghana with Ashesi being ranked in the 301+ position.
