No face mask? Stay home – Residents of Accra warned

The REGSEC has directed drivers to ensure that all their passengers put on face masks before being allowed to board vehicles

The Greater Accra Regional Security Council (REGSEC) has directed all residents of Accra to wear face masks before stepping out of their homes.

This directive forms part of measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus which is on the rise in the region.

In a statement released on Wednesday and signed by the Regional Minister, Ismael Ashitey, the REGSEC said drivers must ensure that passengers wear face masks before being allowed to board vehicles.
