The Ashaiman MP is upbeat the coronavirus will not wreak havoc in Ghana

Ashaiman Member of Parliament (MP), Ernest Henry Norgbey, has donated some Personal protective equipment (PPEs) to health facilities, drivers and market women in his constituency in a bid to combat the coronavirus.

The items included 200 Veronica Buckets, hand sanitizers, tissues, nose masks, and liquid soaps, among others.

The donation came hours after the lawmaker had chaired a stakeholder to assess the preparedness of health facilities and residents in the constituency to stopping the spread of the coronavirus.

Presenting the items, Mr Norgbey acknowledged the nation finds itself in a “critical time” and there is the need for everyone to help in fighting the pandemic.

He said the health and wealth of his constituents are important to him as their lawmaker and will do everything in his might to better their lot.
