Coronavirus cases in Ghana now 287

WHO head tells Africa to ‘wake up’ to coronavirus threat

The total number of coronavirus cases in Ghana stands at 287, the Ghana Health Service says.

The Service has disclosed at least 73 new persons have tested positive for the deadly virus.

The number of deaths, still, remains five.

According to the update by the Service, the regional distribution of the cases are as follows:

(a) Greater Accra Region has most cases (258)

(b) Ashanti Region (18),

(c) Northern Region (10),

(d) Upper West Region (1),

(e) Eastern Region (1) and

(f) Upper East Region (1)
