UPSA student parliament places 2nd in 2020 Commonwealth Debate

The Student Parliament of the University of Professional Studies, Accra, has caused great upsets at this year’s Commonwealth Debate by placing 2nd in the competition.

The school defeated the University of Cape Coast, University of Development Studies and the Abetifi Presbyterian University College to clinch the top position.

Central University came first in the competition. The University of Cape Coast was third followed by the University of Development Studies placing fourth.

The Abetifi Presbyterian University College was fifth in order of ranking. The first three winners were each given trophies.

In a congratulatory message to the team copied UPSANEWSROOM.com Tuesday, the Public Affairs Director of the UPSA Parliament House, Mark Amam, lauded the winners for their hardwork.

“Indeed your hard work, research, preparation and determination has really paid off,” the statement said.

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE

I write on behalf of the leadership of UPSA- PH to congratulate our gallant participants in this year’s commonwealth final quiz competition.

Indeed your hard work, research, preparation and determination has really paid off. Well done to the team for coming up as the first runner up out of six Universities even with the short notice given them and we say “ayekoo” to their able coaches!

On this note I wish to extend our warmth appreciation to this year’s participants in the persons of Hon. Enoch Pobee and Hon. Sunday Solomon Awaah .

Once again congratulations and God bless us all.
