A level 300 law student, Sylvanus Bedzrah, has jumped into the 2020 SRC presidential race at the University of Professional Studies, Accra.
“I humbly approach you today, through this medium, for just one cogent reason – to officially present myself to you in my absolute readiness to serve you diligently as your SRC president,” he announced in a press statement copied UPSANEWSROOM.com Friday.
He said his intention is to serve the utmost interest of students by ensuring that their needs are attended and challenges removed.
“I intend, without any modicum of self-doubt, to represent your very best interest,” he wrote.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with UPSANEWSROOM.com’s Eugene Akpatsa, Mr Bedzrah said he wants to put his skills and talent at the service of students.
Having once contested the position during the 2016/2017 academic year and losing by 67 votes, Mr Bedzrah said he has learnt some useful lessons that will help to administer to the needs of students.
Asked how his policies will transform campus and life of students, he responded he has many projects that he will carry out if he is voted for as the SRC President.
Mr Bedzrah told the reporter his programmes and projects will inure to the personal development, comfort, health, security and safety of students within and without campus.
