Dancehall queen, Ebony Reigns had one request before her untimely death: “Dad, pray for me.”
She had asked her father, Nana Poku Kwarteng, to pray for her safe return to Accra after visiting her mother in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region.
“She said ‘Dad pray for me’,” an emotionally charged Kwarteng narrated.
The late songstress had texted the request to her father, UPSANEWSROOM.com has gathered.
Ebony Reigns died on February 8, 2018, in a gruesome accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.
She died alongside two others who were with her in the vehicle but the driver survived.
Two years after her unfortunate demise, her father has revealed the dancehall artiste was not comfortable with her journey back to Accra.
But he had replied to her that: “It shall be well with you.”
