UPSA launches bus service to ease students movement

The modalities for the operation of the bus shuttle would be worked on by all stakeholders

The University of Professional Studies, Accra has announced a new Mercedes bus it procured in December 2019 will operate as a shuttle service.

The shuttle bus service will operate in and outside campus, has gathered.

During an inspection of the bus last Friday, Deputy Director of Administration in-charge of Transport, Mrs Lorraine Gyan was optimistic about the comfort of students.

“The new bus will help to improve commuting to campus by students, especially those residing in areas outside the University’s immediate environment,” she is reported to have said.

She noted the route timetable for the bus shuttle will be coordinated with the relevant stakeholders on campus.

Present at the inspection of the new bus were; Academic Affairs Director, Edward Bannerman-Wood, Dean of Students, Mawuli Feglo and GRASAG President, Sidney Quartey.

The others included; SRC President, Peter MwinZumah and some staff of the school.
