The Porcupine Warriors have proven their might yet again last Sunday with a staggering 2-1 defeat of all-time rival, Accra Hearts of Oak.
The matchday six fixture could have ended in a 1-1 draw until Guinean Naby Keita scored a 90th-minute penalty to give victory to Asante Kotoko.
It was a fierce battle until the last minute heart-breaking goal, UPSANEWSROOM.com‘s sportswriter has said.
Justice Blay scored the goal for Hearts of Oak which was later cancelled by Joseph Esso for Kotoko.
This came following an 88th-minute penalty awarded by the referee Emmanuel Eshun due to a foul committed by Hearts of Oak’s defender.
But in the end, Kotoko claimed the three points as predicted by some football pundits.
