The University of Ghana, Legon, has been listed on the top 20 best universities in Africa for 2020.
The other universities in Ghana both public and private did not make it onto the list of top schools on the continent.
In the global ranking, the University of Ghana ranked 801th in the world, maintaining its 2019 ranking.
The list was released by international data provider, Times Higher Education.
