Gov’t sets up 38-member committee to probe fall of cedi, others

The 38-member committee, FX Developments Committee

The government has set up a 38-member committee to investigate the depreciation of the country’s currency and other financial matters.

The committee named, FX Developments Committee, was inaugurated by the Finance Ministry on Monday.

“The committee is also to critically look at the role of automation and digitization as a critical enabler of FX reforms,” the Ministry said.
