Ex-president Jerry John Rawlings is expected to take on major national issues at the 38th-anniversary of the 31st December Revolution in Winneba.
UPSANEWSROOM.com has learnt the longest-serving leader of Ghana would also touch on the political fortunes of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 General Elections, a party he formed in 1992.
The ceremony would be under the theme: “Monetisation of elections in Ghana – a threat to national development and genuine democracy.”
The anniversary celebration is expected to take place at the Winneba Lorry Park after a durbar of Chiefs and people of the area.
The event will also feature a wreath-laying ceremony in honour of the fallen heroes during the revolution.
