Eighty-five-year-old leader of Homeland Study Group, Charles Kwami Kudzordzi has been declared wanted by the police alongside a member of the group, Hope Mortey.
The two are reportedly on the run after they purportedly declared the independence of the Volta Region, christened Western Togoland.
At a news conference in Accra, Inspector-General of Police (IGP), James Oppong-Boanuh said his men are on the lookout for them.
“He is currently being pursued by security agencies,” the police chief told the media.
The IGP has asked Papavi and Hope Mortey to report themselves to the nearest Police station.
He has also charged the public to volunteer information about the whereabouts of the two.
