Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has scored president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo a disappointing 15% for his performance over the past three years.
In a viral video viewed a million times, the musician said the president has churned out more problems than the one his government claimed to have solved.
“Let me just give him 15% because people are complaining, you know, and me myself every morning the kind of people I have in front of my gate, as I’m even not there now I’m imagining the people there. If I go, it’s like a doctor visiting his patients, you know, school fees, sickness, grandmother, grandfather,” Shatta Wale said.
The President has asked Ghanaians to renew his mandate in the 2020 General Elections despite bitter complaints about general hardship in the country.
“Four more years for Nana,” he said during an interaction some journalists at the Flagstaff House this month.
The government has scored its performance from 2016 to 2019 a staggering 72 percent.
But the Dancehall artiste has discredited the score, describing it as mere praise-singing.
“Who gave them 72 percent?” he quizzed.
“You see, me I don’t lie, this thing that I’m saying I just want the president to even know himself that people are complaining, that life has become unbearable in Ghana,” he said.
