In a rather swift manner, Parliament has given its approval to Chief Justice nominee, Kwasi Anin-Yeboah.
The approval comes less than 24 hours after Mr Anin-Yeboah was vetted by the Appointments Committee.
He is due to be sworn-in by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo later in the week.
He will be the first male in 12 years to be elevated to the high judiciary position after two strong female predecessors.
Mr Anin-Yeboah succeeds, Justice Sophia Akuffo who also took over from Justice Georgina Theodora Wood.
